Snowball Cookies
Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter (room temperature)
- 1/4 cup plus 1 Tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 Tbsp water
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups chopped pecans
- 5 Heath bars (about 6 oz total) finely chopped (pieces should be about half the size of a chocolate chip)
- 1 cup powdered sugar, for rolling cookies
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325 F. Line baking pans with parchment and set aside
- Cream butter, then add sugar, vanilla, and water and combine. Stir flour and salt into the mixture. Add pecans and toffee bits and mix thoroughly
- Form tablespoon sized scoops of dough into balls. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until lightly browned
- Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly. Roll each cookie in powdered sugar while still warm
